The End of Daze
And another one:
And Theo himself:
Only a few more minutes here in North Adams. Breakfast is arrayed around me in this fabulous hotel and I am trying to contain mtself from reaching for a secnd croissant. Yesterday we 'did' Mass MoCA and I loved it. There was a change of exhibit going on on the second floor so we only really had to contend with the lower floor and that was plenty, believe me. The videos above are by Theo Jansen and his wind powered kinetic powered 'beests'- there is one on display at the museum but it looks like maybe the wind got it moving too fast- it's kinda shop-worn, but I had seen the videos before of the movement across the beaches and was amazed at the scale of the thing.
I want to talk about the main exhibit on the first floor a bit but will collect some links first.
Right now I am gonna go for the homemade granola and a big plop of yogurt.
