Vaculate Floorboard Agamemnon

Oh Happy Day- I found my blog headers that I have saved in such a safe place that I forgot where I put them! Maybe I will write more often now that I have found my crutch.

Hardly have time any more, I am so busy getting the baby quilt quilted. I pretty much finished it tonight and can do the binding tomorrow morning. I am all packed, suitcase next to the door. Molly travels light and she is only going down the street to the doggie day care that keeps them overnight. I like leaving her there because she isn't caged and has other dogs to mess with rather than being by herself. She won't even know we are gone, BUT I will- they have a webcam I can watch her any time I want from Boston!

Here, you can watch her too on the DOGGIE CAM from 9-5: Doggie Day Care Palm Beach She will be the biggest fluffy white dog in with the small dogs. Tell me if you catch her stealing toys.

Had to get the printer installed so I can get my e-ticket, had to get the scanner installed so I could scan and send in my rebate for the new printer. One of these days I will get to doing something more than rehanging pictures or making little cakes to give away as hostess presents if someone invites me somewhere before I eat them all. And I signed up for a class at the Armory Art Center, Photoshop for Painters that starts mid-January. It sounds perfect for what I want to do next because it involves photo manipulations and blow-ups, transferring to canvas and then painting on the image. Cool. But I will keep you posted as to whether it is actually what the blurb claims or it's all whoo-ha. This was the class I signed up for in the fall but got cancelled so I am really looking forward to it. Probably I won't get to all the classes because of my impending grandmotherhood, but we'll see what happens.

Next revelation- I dropped off some towels at Goodwill the other day and was wandering around looking for stuff to cut up, and ended up in the book section. Hardbacks $1.49. I got 6 books for $9. I've read one whole one, and half the next, and have a big fat Ruth Rendell I am saving for 'good' when I get back. Also bought a clean untouched 'The Giving Tree' which was my kids favorite book for a long time. I'll keep it here just in case I may need it someday.

And I will leave you with a rave on about Aleppo Pepper. It's the best, most flavorfull pepper available and I use it on anything that isn't moving. Tonight it dressed up a skillet of peeled fresh shrimp sauteed in olive oil and served on bed of spicy arugula. It simply disappeared.

Next time, pictures but I can't find my camera today.
