On Duty
She wasn't particularly happy having her day-long nap interrupted and having to actually be without her air conditioning unit, but she soldiered on barking at everyone who entered. Fortunately only one woman seemed intimidated and that left Molly with a feeling of accomplishment so she could settle down to the other visitors patting her for her 'good' behavior. (It was raining out, so she had on her new pink striped anxiety jacket, a real fashion upgrade from her other gray one that I unfortunately left in Florida.)The gallery wasn't jumping with activity yesterday but I did have a steady trickle of people coming through and all seemed appreciative of the collage exhibit. There are some great pieces in it too, wish they were staying longer, but the show comes down on the 19th- get there fast to see it!
Oops, looks like I got my water bottle placed a bit too prominently here, but the poor ole iPhone isn't too fussy on thiongs like composition. There is my piece on the left, 'Curiouser' which you can see on my new 'Collage' page in the top menu. It's still being tweaked but I was happy to add some pages to this blog and hopefully simplify things a bit. Yup, I was stealing someone's internet access and got some time to work on it while sitting yesterday, still have lots to go. And one more gratuitous Molly picture in a down moment:
When there wasn't someone there to bark at, or someone there to pay attention to her she collapsed into a sleepy heap. And that is exactly what I did when I got home.

Please thank Molly for being such a brave gallery sitter. I'm glad all went well, but I'm sorry you forgot your knitting. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. Your blog looks great!
