Muse is on Final Warning

Bad Muse, Bad!

Took my fat lips to the studio yesterday to act on the Muse's directives from my sleepless night. And I cannot tell you waht a screw-up I managed to accomplish on a job that was fool-proof. My simple 'enhansement' operation turned into a major mess and all the attempts I made to recitfy the situation only (oh, like you don't know what I'm gonna say?) MADE IT WORSE.

So today is a new day. Tomorrow I am heading down to the only decent fabric store in the area to see if I can find something to start over with. If only I could get ME out of the equation, maybe something would come of it, but I tend to muck things up by working too hard. Damn you, Muse. Well, maybe the directive was OK, it was my execution that flopped- you should have been more clear! You should have stopped me!

Today I have to go get bloodwork done, then I will come home and eat breakfast, and finally, go assess the damages at the studio beyond the ample mess that needs to be cleared before the Next Step, whatever that may be. I think I will lay low and not make any major moves until I get the background piece settled. Until then I can concentrate on the sewing of the bridge sections- stuff that can be down by elves in the evening should they accept the challenge.

Speaking of the missing elves, I got sent a picture yesterday of one of my two favorite elves- even though she doesn't sew yet. But I haven't given up all hope there. We'll see. Fierce, eh?

(Actually I need to know what they did to this child to have her sit still long enough for what turned out to be a fabulous face painting!) I hope it didn't involve restraints or drugs...

If you are trying to make the garmet that muse is wearing, no wonder you are having problems.

Your granddaughter is TOO CUTE!! Love that face! (with our without the paint).
