And now for

A week's worth of hunting and gathering!

Very cool high res video gliding through the Bath station. And while we are 'on the road',

The Google Street View camera images. Check out the similarities (and the differences!) of the places they shot.

Ya gotta git yourself some~

Puppies Dressed Like Pie!

And in further honor of our furry turkey loving companions:

Enough with the YouTubes. Today I hit the Vintge and Modernism show at the Palm Beach Convention Center. Boy, was I disappointed. I think I might have liked it better had I not had TY with me jumping like a ten year old that needs a bathroom. But the show was small and featured mostly old Chanel stuff which has never been something I lust after. I did see a crocodile bag that caught my eye, but on closer inspection looked too worn to covet. Who wants to drag around old alligators when there are new ones to be had?

Anyway, we were out of there in an hour, and off to a great Mexican place Laurie told me about. What a good meal we had there- loved it from the guacamole that had hunks of avacado in it the size of eggs, to the skirt steak that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. And oh yesssssss, goat cheese in the deep fried poblanos, ya hooooo! This was not the sticky gooey dripping Mexican platter of red food I have been getting lately- this was the best I've had since Santa Fe, by far.

Next stop was the Apple Store where TY didn't do so well. Too many geniuses who intimidated him. We had already decided he needed new RAM so I can install the new OS for him so we can hook up the new printer yadda yadda. The knee bone connected to the elbow bone... But the place was crawling with lookie loos and confused folks bumping into the expensive strollers and lots and lots of old people who don't have a computerized clue. OK, so I was with one of them, and trying my darndest to steer him to a pertinent conversation with a genius before he started yelling BUT I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Whew, it was tough, but I got his new RAM ordered, set up an appointment to get it installed because he also needs his laptop gone over and cleaned up at the same time, AND got him steered out of there before they called maul security.

Shopping with TY is tough under the best of circumstances, and it always involves stopping to look at watches wherever we go. Sunday afternoon at the Mall is completely off his radar, even with 2 margaritas bolstering him up from lunch. But he made it through and his computer will be fine for $100, not having to choke up $1000 for a new model. He still longs for his typewriter. (A keyboard and a printer in ALL IN ONE!) That's what I deal with.
And now I'm trying to figure out how to get this turkey brined without room in the refrigerator . I need a Refrigerator Annex.
