Superhero Complex

Find Waldo, then find Sandy...
(clue: neither one of us are there, but what's with all those thighs?)
You have big ideas on your mind today, yet you don't want to lose sight of what's real. Normally, your outgoing nature works in your favor, but you might attract so much positive feedback now that you begin to think you're invincible. Unfortunately, you have not yet transformed into a superhero, so step back from the excitement and downsize your plans before they get the best of you. Horror-Scope
Today is William Blake's birthday, and today Leslie Nielson died.

As follow-up~ Remember the other day when I showed that video of the otter baby attacking a stuffed walrus? On the news that evening I heard about this:

They may be cute but stay away! An otter in Boca is pretty, ummm, **rare**- this one might have been that cute little baby that got rambunctious and was let go to 'be freeeeeeeeeee'. And bite people, because there were no walrusses to be found in Boca. (yet) Since this is the land of the 'catch and release' (catch 'em on the black market or in some unscrupulous pet store, raise them a week or two while they're cute, and then send 'em packing-release- when they can't be controlled as housepets any longer), there are all sorts of species wandering around wondering 'WTF'. Right across from my studio is the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, a refuge that takes in these critters when they are found wounded or helpless in the wild. They have a rare Florida panther that someone DECLAWED and tried to raise like a pet kitten. Obviously their sofa was more important. Anyway, check the link for the most recent rescue stories. And if you have a few pesos lying around not earmarked for anything, send them along to this worthy cause (they lost state funding this year I hear). They are going to be my charity of the season. Love this place- I stop by to photograph the 'residents' every few weeks and check on my favorite, the albino raccoon.

And another follow-up, in Squirrel news:

To change the subject (like there ever is just one!):
the 'Unmakable Book' is finally made! Jonahan Safran Foer took an already published book, 'The Street of Crocodiles and Other Stories by Bruno Schulz) and by cutting out unnecessary words, made an entirely new interactive book out of the remaining parts. Trouble was he couldn't find anyone to publish it until a firm in Belgium, Die Keure, proved it possible. I cannot wait to see this, called 'Tree of Codes'. (You can buy both together to follow along.)
