Prince William has taken on the title of the Duke of Cambridge, and also takes on the titles of the Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus.
Following the wedding, Middleton will become Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge. She will also become the Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.
So the happy couple will forever get mail from me addressed to The Baroness and Baron Carrickfergus. LOVE this title. Heck, I'd marry into this bunch of fruitcakes if I thought I could get a title like this. I don't even want the banner to wear across my chest or the medals or tiara or anything, just to be able to get teeny calling cards printed by Moo...

This is Elias chowing down on an Armenian choreg at Easter. A boy after my own heart, wish I could have had a few because I love them too. Elias is one-and-some-change now.
And here is big sister Hazel a few days later at the Big Apple Circus. And just perhaps she is looking at this scene where actual goats jump on actual ponies and ride around the actual ring...
Why they would do this I don't understand. (See previous post re: goats and horses and everything else imaginable.) But it doesn't matter because to Hazel it was magic indeed.

I totally shared your thought about the title. Although I'm going with the tiara and other sparklies. Just for state occasions mind you.
PS that title was apparently resurrected for William and Kate.
So HRH ER - any small bit of land with a lake, loch, river or view of sea would be fine for my titleage. Thank you very much Ma'am. Thank you very much indeed.

And if Hazel is amazed by the goats and horses, why is she looking in an entirely different direction from everyone else? Perhaps she is watching a man puke.
Both kids are gorgeous. Hazel has changed so much, and is much less a toddler, and more a real person.
I watched the wedding and I got the same impression from it. They are two people in love and since it wasn’t arranged and they fell in love the way they wanted too, it’s bound to last. I thought Kate looked amazing and I think she knows that she has huge shoes to fill and she’s ready to do that. I don’t like how everyone is comparing her to Princess Diana because that’s his mom and I just don’t think its right.
Good thing Andrew and Sarah didn't become the Carrigfergus's. She would've been Fergie Carrigfergous! And that's a mouthful. Love the big eyes on those kids!
