Pat sent out our postcards for the parallax show last week and I've been handing them out to anyone who is headed north and may be able to see it. The rest I am mailing to 'selected' folks on my list, but if you would like one, let me know and I'll send it off with a stamp and everything!
We're on our way to Key West today to check out some restaurants for a bawdy rehearsal dinner next spring. We have identified a few likely suspects and have recommendations for others so for the next two days I will be eating Cuban and Island food till I drop over. Bring on them plantains! Where my black beans??? This SHOULD be a fun trip but alas and alak the trip devils have visited me in the night and loosened my temp toof and out it fell this morning in my coffee. Tough coffee. I'm waiting to call the dentist to see if I can stop by on our way south for a spot o' glue. Meanwhile I can't eat or drink a thing because it's so sensitive.
Much to do to get ready to roll, next report from FlaFla Land, supposed to be in the 90's which I suppose is just fine for strolling around testing food and soaking up the Key West vibes.

The plantains at Sandy's Cafe were the best I've ever had. Ever. And if you need a lift, they have shots of Cuban espresso. (Tell them to hold the sugar.)
