Tom Gauld has perfectly caught my cabin in the woods that we went summers fixing up! He has characterized every threat, every danger, every reason not to be there. My mother had an active imagination when it came to children's dangers so we were kept pretty close to the cabin, but knew what lurked out there behind the tree. As I grew older I got more fearful myself and now know for a fact that if you camp you get eaten by fur bearing animals.
