Everyone Lifelike

UPDATE I:  spent the entire day video-ing and slideshow-ing and editing, all for naught.  Scraped the seven versions I ended up with and I am heading off to the studio again today to try one-more-time.  One of these days, like that chimp with the typewriter, I WILL get it.  

UPDATE II:  a leetle editorial note-  those damn ducks in the video yesterday have had me salivating since I posted it.  So last night we ended up at the local Frenchie restaurant, the one with the Cajun Tattoo and BBQ Festival outside (don't ask), and of course the only thing I wanted was Foie Gras.  Got it, although the portion was way too small and it was overcooked, at least that itch got scratched.  (Please no comments about the poor ducks sacrificed for my pleasures.  I eat veal too, with relish, no not pickle relish.)

PUMPKIN OVERACHIEVERS ANONYMOUS CLUB

All we really need from a pumpkin.  Yum.

And finally, a cake for a Halloween wedding.  I suppose in this case the bride wears a black gown and the groom wears zombie makeup?  Nobody ever invites me to these kind of weddings.  Seems all I ever end up at are 2 hour Orthodox masses in the middle of August without AC.  In a long gown.  And a tent reception.  In a hurricane.  Where I don't know anybody and they are all speaking some other language.

Invite me to a Zombie wedding in a cemetery or a Pirate wedding on a frigate or a Snow White wedding (I can't believe I'm saying this) at the Magic Castle any time!  I might not show up but I'll keep the invitation on my refrigerator for years and you'll get a great present, themed of course.

...and with that I am headed back to the trenches of Ganymede, hopefully a day uninterrupted and successfully completed.  (I'm visualizing success here, can't you tell?)
