Diabetic Combustion*

* completely random title choice, as all of them are captured from old spam.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming:
and repeat.  Looks like somebody was trying to make turkey wallpaper here.  Fail.

Cute little red potato hippo, followed by his cute little white potato elephant!  How could you eat these? (the elephant looks more like a Parsnip guy to me, but the caption called him white potato)

I've been searching online for a 2-color color work sock pattern, naturally I want it to be free, but there isn't much on ravelry that fits those perameters.  They DO have one sock with a chart for 2 deer fornicating on the cuff, but that's not quite what I had in mind.  There were also several choices if I want lizards , some very cute but I see enough lizards here to not want them on my feet scurrying up my leg.  I want a simple geometric so I can ty out my fabulous new double-pointed wood needles in technicolor!  Have you ever seen somebody fall in love with a set of needles and then buy yarn to use with them specifically and THEN decide what to make?  I didn't think so.  Guess I'll go to the studio and wind the balls anyway.

But first I have to get to the Apple store because there seems to be a worm in my phone.  It's dead, one of the tribulations of cutting the land lines out of my life.

And before that I had to go to brunch because I forgot to eat dinner last night.

Interweave notified me that their new 'Pages' book is available in the digital form now, and will be released soon as the hard version.  I've got 2 of my books in it so naturally I HIGHLY recommend you buy it!  Meanwhile, I haven't seen it yet.  Doesn't look like I made the cover...   sigh.

I'm thrilled, I haven't sent in things for consideration in a long time, and these little books have gotten some attention lately.  I really want to make more but have been concentrating on getting some bigger quilt work ready to show rather than the little books, probably because I know my way around that world and the book-world is a strange land I have to learn to navigate.  And OK, so I'm lazy.  But do check out the 'Pages' book, anywhere Interweave is sold or on their own website.
