Celebrating The Turkey. wow.
Went to a flea market today and haven't'been so wanting to leave a place in a long time. This isn't a Real Flea market like the Old Days (pre-eBay) with antique junque and collectables, no. This was stuff off the back of a truck, cheap initiations of expensive items, like the Michael Kors bag for $25 that sells elsewhere in a real version for $350. But it felt funny. And it looked a bit funny. And I was appalled. The good part was I paid for 'premium parking' and had to fork over $3 to the driver, my big expense.
I managed to sneak into my favorite yarn shop and bought a couple of skeins of wonderful wool to make somebody some socks or fingerless gloves, I don't know which. I'll search for a pattern I like and decide later, after I wind the balls tomorrow, at least. Purple and green color-work is what I have in mind, we'll see what pops out in the end. Like I need another project.
Here I am at the flea market, where I actually got close to this ugly shark who was once a real live swimming being but now is a resin shell. See my eye-chart shirt?
Glad the back doesn't have the rest of the vowels, "IOU!" Taking pictures like this absolutely falls into the 'getalife' category.
As soon as I got home I charged my dead iPhone and downloaded this picture and a few others. they said my iPhone needed updating so I did that, then it was charging and started flashing that I need to insert a SIM card. Then it said the phone was unregistered. So when Ty got home I raced to the AT&T store where they told me they don't know what's wrong and I have to take it to Apple. Rats. No phone. Guess I'll go to bed and feel sorry for myself.
