Depress Ivan Portia

Cristmas Cherpumple,
festive as hell.  It's three different pies baked inside three different cakes and then all frosted up fancyish.

And the directions to make your own are HERE.

And another not-quite Christmas find:

The Arctic Circle from Kevin Parry on Vimeo.

Which leads us from the Arctic on to The National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech:

Unwanted Visitor: Portrait of Wildfire is an outdoor art installation, which opened October 7, 2011, which educates the public as to the causes of wildfire both environmental and human; its effect on the surrounding environment including plants and animals; fire prevention and the purpose of prescribed burning.

Internationally known sculptor Herb Williams of Nashville, TN, designed, created and installed 5 freestanding, three-dimensional sculptures of wildfire using the media of Crayola crayons for the National Ranching Heritage Center. Because each sculpture is made of wax, they are melting and changing shape in the unpredictable outdoor conditions.
cool, huh?

And more to think about, as if you need it, some ADVENTURES IN THOUGHT!

Are you thinking yet?  Me neither-   try this next and I'll leave you shaking your head in disbelief:
Skip to about 2 minutes in-  OMG!!!!!
And I won't go on a freakin Ferris Wheel!  The Mad Teacups made me sick for two days!  I need a drink.
