Ecliptic Protuberant

One of the best blogs I follow is over at 'Advanced Style' where they mine the streets of New York for women displaying ageless style.  Granted it flows into eccentricities at times but for the most part, these are the women I want to be!  Here is the little video on today's post-  simply fabulous!

I spent the whole day in the studio and FINALLY took apart the Four Turkeys and remounted it as I should have done from the beginning.  I had a huge chunk of pristine vintage linen damask so used that for the foundation, sort of like wearing my good underwear on this one!  If a bus runs over this quilt neither of us will be embarrassed in the ER...  So I left at about 4 feeling great that tomorrow I can pick it all back up at a good place.  Tomorrow I start some embroidery and some more appliqué and I think I can easily complete the first section (of three) now that I have eliminated the things that weren't working. Whew.  I think having Laurie back in the studio energized me and gave me the go ahead to just start it over. So I did.  I *think* that when someone is around I become hyper aware of where the problems are and get the push I need to simply FIX it-  this is all without any prompting or even talking about it!  When I finally do ask for input Laurie is great at finding the exact thing that's bothering me and giving me the go ahead to zap it.  She has no idea she is so helpful!  Anyway, it was one great head-way day and I am back on track.

The oxtails are on the stove, the wine is being poured, but we will probably polish off the bottle long before the tails are done-  I got a late start.

The Closing Shot--- If you don't have anything to do, you can teach your dog to sneeze on command. bet you never considered this as a parlor trick, did you?
