Rapidly Sting European

Unbelievable.  I have been spending way too much time here at the Slothpital (yup, that's right, a sloth hospital in Costa Rica!)  And watching the videos of the babies getting baths and learning to poop.  You can donate here after you read all about them.  Cute?  I dunno, but helpless-  yes!  And Judy (shown in picture) has her hands full helping these critters grow up.

Remember I said I was making cigar box centerpieces for the upcoming wedding?  Seemed like a cool idea with a cigar roller guy there and being at Hemenway's House and all.  I think I've mentioned that I now have over 100 cigar boxes and they are taking over the studio.   Have spent the afternoon buried under these boxes trying to figure out which are compatible with which, and dumping out various critter homes and old tobacco leaves and other unidentifiable objects.  This is daunting-  I was figuring on slapping a few on top of each other and adding some moss, maybe a succulent from Home Depot, but now I am under water here trying how to get a flat of succulents to Key West, and then where on earth to find orchids down there to pop out of the top of these assemblages.  OMG.
The table of boxes above, the chair and floor of boxes below.
Now I have this Other Idea to make the bridesmaids cigar box purses but I am shelving it until I finish this and see what's left to mess with.  This may not be something that will happen.  I'm the Idea Guy, not the Follow-Through Guy.

And the Horror today looks good!
You may have something sweet to smile about today because it seems as if your life is moving in the right direction. Although you might not have everything you want, it's wonderful to believe that your patience will finally pay off. But blindly pinning your hopes onto a pipedream isn't such a smart strategy. You don't have to get crazy and turn your world upside down; just start making concrete plans while luck is on your side.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, The Four Turkeys quilt thing is underway and on the table here:  First, the Turkey. well one of them:
The Swans
 The Pansys
 One of the Daffodils
And the usual Kids with Wings and Dogs

See?  I toldja I was busy.  And I haven't even talked about the book that's due by the end of the month.  Oy.
