Conjure Junta Clothe

I was able to spend a few hours in the studio yesterday finally, spent some time picking up, more time looking for a hidey hole to stash my two huge plastic bins of yarn, and made a little dress for Hazel out of an old teeshirt of mine.  I have no clue if she'll be able to wear it, but I still need a piece of ribbon to run through the casing to declare it done. Hope it's long enough.  I bought some patterns the other day but I don't want to invest my life in elastic casings and gathering skirts and wee appliqués for clothes she may or may not wear so I borrowed some patterns from the Walking Nazi for simple shapes and will use them for the next offering, which is using up a hunk of Kaffe Fassett chard fabric matched with a stripe for the top.  Hope that I can do that today when the world wakes up.
Today may be buzzing with excitement because the fiery Aries New Moon is activating your 9th House of Adventure. Even if you have been working too hard, you're currently beginning to see the results of your labor. You might even be confident enough to take some time off to do something enjoyable. If you are thinking about a short vacation, make your plans now. The window of opportunity might close before you climb through it.
And that's the Horror that made me just now get off the JetBlue site.  Made a reservation back to Boston to take care of some BizNiz and needed to climb through that window of opportunity before someone slams it on my neck.  I hate it when I see '1 seat Left at This Price' on the hideous adventure through JFK flight.  I only want the more expensive direct flights of course, and I don't like leaving at 6 AM either which is when they fly without stopping.

But, here I sit in anticipation of Aries activating my House of Adventure!  Actually every day lately is an adventure walking two dogs, keeping them going straight ahead and not biting any close-by necks in the process.  My arms are bulging with new-found muscles and I wake up every morning sore from running them down the street and back.  Cesar says to keep them moving ahead, I do.  Any day now they will be the perfect team licking my face and growling at each other as I lie in the middle of the road, a broken woman.
As close as it gets.
And yes, I have been working too hard.  I was up at 4 this morning, in the car to drop off TY at the airport by 4:30, and home again by 5, dodging the sprinklers to get back out of the car.  I need a nap and it's now about the time I should be getting up.  TY was on the hideous 6 AM flight today, and he is now about over Cape Cod which blows me away-  it just got light here!  Last night I dropped an entire quart of homemade tomato sauce PLOP onto the stone floor.  The dogs came running, I was busy mopping off my shoes, my pants, and the refrigerator and cupboards while they had at the floor.  Pepper isn't good at clean-up but he managed to get all the bigger chunks, then came in the canine vacuum Molly who used her agile tongue to remove every last morsel of orange from the holes in the stone.  No kidding, I cannot even see where I dropped it.  They'll probably be a little farty today.  Who knew dogs ate spaghetti sauce?

In Other News, I heard from the Yeiser that they were wondering about where my quilt might be, so I told them the story about the mixed-up labels and that it should be there today or tomorrow, and they will 'make accommodations' which I assume means leave me a little wall space for when it does arrive.  Glad I was able to avert that disaster, o at least I am under the illusion that I did.
