borealis gracious baptismal

The world is so rich, simply throbbing with rich treasures, beautiful souls and interesting people. Forget yourself." (Henry Miller

From Cesar Millan's newsletter about voting:  'Dogs do not have democracy. They do not get together and decide by voting which one of them will be the leader of the pack. This position naturally goes to the most dominant dog as long as that dog also exhibits calm and balanced energy. A dog may be dominant, but if it is also unbalanced or erratic, the pack will not follow.'  So, get out there and decide which pack leader you want to follow-  who has the best calm and balanced energy?  That's the guy who gets my vote.

(this was adult sized, the picture on her site shows it being worn)
These gorgeous hand felted performance masks are made by Gladys Paulus in the UK and are available on her etsy site along with several more very realistic animal heads.  I don't think I'd be putting them on a kid to trick or treat but they would sure be a fabulous display.  She will also custom make one to match your particular bird or animal.

I know, we're beyond Halloween, but I have just one more squirrel to show you.  Imagin  seeing this in your yard...

I always heard that the dogs got together years ago to decide how to select their president and decided that the one with the best-smelling butt should be their leader. They are still looking for him.
