Because I know you all follow my tired dogs wearing their new tee shirts:
Working hard to Free Tibet from the prone position
I discovered a new talent yesterday, Sabine Timm, when I tripped across this project by accident. Obviously where I tripped was also an accident because they hadn' given any credit. Several hours of sleuthing later, I found a few of the same little pieces of furniture on about page 20 of a flickr blog. So I wrote her and she answered that yes indeed, it was hers. So, ladies (and any gentlemen if there happen to be some reading this (fat chance):
Note the top photo is the reverse of the bottom, little bundles of doll furniture that look like they should be put on top of a car for a cross-country run. Keep looking....
Believe it or not I DID spend the day in the studio, got some linen printed, then did some stencils on old book pages ('Sticks and Stones', in progress) and tore out some seams from one of the blouses that I had made- a bit of underestimating my size, but I can fix it in spite of it being a major day-drain getting those little seams undone. Had to pick up two clean and shiny dogs from the groomer early and came home to the day I get to finish up the Blood Orange cello that's been steeping for a couple of weeks. Today was the day to add the sugar syrup so the whole kitchen is sticky but damn, it's pretty, don't you think? And mighty tasty in spite of the fact that I can't drink it.
And tonight we go to the Trivia finals, last meet of the season. Tough when you can barely remember what state you're in! Swiss cheese brains, so any correct answers are purely coincidental. It's my intellectual pursuit, don't judge...
First, some informational crow and raven info, then some entertainment with them. I'veneer had a pet raven, frankly am not a fan of keeping things in cages when they need to be free. If I DID have a bird, it would probably be a little parakeet- they poop small and I could give up taking baggies with me all the time. But not for now, I am sticking with dogs in spite of that drawback.
So, you want a Raven?
