elucidate monster yore

Most dear actors, eat no onions nor garlic, for we are to utter sweet breath.  William Shakespeare

The 12 Days of Christmas as told by comic artist and Simpsons animator Liz Climo

From my 'OOPS, I did it again Category'.  Had a rude awakening at 5 when TY went into the bathroom and let out a WHOOP!.  Apparently a frog had hopped up and scared him.  No, we do not have outdoor plumbing.  So he dutifully herded the poor thing towards the front door accompanied by two curious canines dancing around the operation.  I helped by staying put under the covers, doubting that that particular Prince-in-Disquise was one I was waiting for.  Well, it seems that the White Dog got ahead of the whole procession and when the frog hopped on out the door, she scared it back inside!  Hilarity ensued-  not.  Finally all four of them exited, the outside lights got turned on to track his progress, and the dogs lost interest because they were outside that meant Time-to-Pee.  They all lived to tell the tale.

An I turned over to listen to the rest of the TED talk about the 15 year old kid who discovered an easy inexpensive way to detect prostate, ovarian, and lung cancer.  Made myself stay there until 6.

I have some art!  Wow, bet you're surprised since this is where I always stick it, but here goes, and this time the surprise of only ONE guy!:

1.  Gabriel Dawe, thread installations.  Dawe, an artist that usually works with site-specific installations, textiles and embroidery- shifts gears to create these bizarre assemblages of multiple plastic farm animals and thread.  Originally from Mexico City, Gabriel Dawe creates site-specific installations that explore the connection between fashion and architecture, and how they relate to the human need for shelter in all its shapes and forms. His work is centered in the exploration of textiles, aiming to examine the complicated construction of gender and identity in his native Mexico and attempting to subvert the notions of masculinity and machismo prevalent in the present day.

4.  Gabriel Dawe, shifts gears to create these bizarre assemblages of multiple plastic farm animals and thread.  This guy gets around, from entire rooms of strung thread to these dines sporting new skins!  I'll be watching for him, looks like he might just have a few more ideas up his sleeves.

Another little something I really don't want, won't print, cut out, or assemble:  free from my local BMW dealership, a tiny paper Mini to use and an ornament.  Feel free to steal it if you're that hard up for ornaments! It's a pdf     (I DO love the orange though...)   hmmm

The oven just called me, the biscotti are ready to pull out, then cut up and bake again.  When TY comes hoe he's going to be unhappy I used the last of the Sambuca...  See you on Christmas Eve.
