fritillary grantee dissonant

In this movement of colors I find the essence, which does not arise from a system, or an a priori theory. Robert Delaunay

Back on normal operational schedule tomorrow, house cleaned up, yarn bought for the Play-for-Pink golf club cozies I have to finish, and cookies baked for the next house party.  I've heard from some friends who haven't arrived yet, and got a whole pack o grandchildren-at play pictures today!  For example:
Elias with his favorite present, the 'only' thing he has been wanting, his own buoy.  He wants to take a bath with it.  Don't ask.

And Mister's frist MFA visit-  he wasn't impressed, but really studied it before yawning.  I think I need to take him to the mummies when I get home.  My own kid is 37 and that's still the first place he heads.

rArtist Paco Pomet who lives and works in Grenada, Spain posesses a wonderfully bizarre sense of humor that manifests itself in each of his oil paintings which contain a strange or humorous visual twist. His subverted landscapes and portraits often borrow from sepia-toned photographs that look like historical documents or vintage vacation photos.  Look carefully!

New York-based artist Lisa Hoke creates colorful wall collages out of an assortment of disposable items. Working extensively with paper and plastic cups, the artist installs each of her multilayered murals in eye-catching patterns. She playfully transforms each room into a magnificent spectacle full of snake-like formations of multihued cups as well as flattened cereal boxes and various candy wrappers.

Wow.

Wow again.
