Here's BLACKMAILING PETER TO BANKRUPT PAUL, done except for the binding. I finally decided to just make this as one long vertical piece rather than something more manageable. I had also put all sorts of stuff on the surface but it frankly disappeared into the busy fabrics so I removed it. The final measurements are 20" x 120" so I am using all the height in the dining room to hang it. Of course it could go horizontal too but I'll be damned if I would do that sleeve without the cash in hand. And I do a mean sleeve... I'll repost when the binding is complete, and I get a good photo on the design wall.
Weird Events Found this link last night and think it deserves further perusal.
Spent yesterday up on top of a ladder in Beverly helping Mandy paint the kitchen. It went quickly and I think she was surprised at how nice it came out. After the paint-party we rode over to Droll Designs outlet shop and I found a great big platter with a brown/rust background and huge bananas painted on- will be a great fruit plate for the counter, and it has the black and white spotted edge I love. Hardly anything there, didn't see any flaws on the things that were available- that is until I got home and found a chunk missing from my platter. Oh well, a grapefruit covers it nicely.
