Another Aaarughh

Here I am set up on the Genius bar at the Mac store trying still to figure out why Adobe stuff won't work on my machine.  I am sitting here next to a 90 year old man with his desktop that he lugged in for 'diagnostics'.  The genius got to the bottom of the matter right away-  seems that the poor old guy got a full computer set-up from his offspring and he 'couldn't see the pictures they send him'.  Genius looked at what he was talking about and all the stuff the family was sending him he was putting in the 'junk' file.  Genius dispatched him with a pleasant manner, and has him now signed up for classes weekly.  I suggested to him to bring it next time in a rolling suitcase, and he thinks I am one smart young lady!
Yeah, so smart that I spent an additional 2 hours at the Genius Bar today waiting to download a very old free trial of Photoshop, the real one, not Elements like got eaten, is downloading it's 785 mg into my bloated system.  I have 30 days.  That should allow me enough time to find my original disk, try to load it myself, fail, and end up at the Genius bar in Boston whining over the same thing.  This is my fourth Photoshop I have had in in a week.  And finally I got to mess with the black balls, clean them up and get rid of the background. So, today's version:

Lettuce prey that it lasts through Saturday's class.

Still on baby-alert here, any time now.  The prospective mom is getting way tired of being uncomfortable and exhausted all the time.  I didn't have the heart to tell her she has no idea about 'tired'.  Found out today she has already started a blog for the baby, something I was going to do for her, but it's better that she took over, but she won't release the URL until after Baby Snooks makes her debut.  Drat.

I managed to completely quilt and put to bed the gift piece I've been working on.  Another notch in the gun belt.  I'll take it's final picture tomorrow in the daylight and stick it in my suitcase for the trip home.  That and the Yodeling Coat.

Wishing baby-to-be and new mom and you all the best. What wonderful news.

Puts all the computer problems in perspective.
