Got sick of process already, and walked to the Y and joined the gym. Turns out the woman at the counter recognized my name and she is also married to an Assyrian, so we talked and talked as we wound our way around on the tour. Finally the Y has month by month memberships so I joined for the duration here. The good thing is it's walkable so maybe I will actually DO it. I even took advantage of the offer to get trained right away so made an appointment for tomorrow. So, that's taken care of.
Spent the morning on the phone setting up appointments for window washers and handymen and plumbers, then on my walkabout this morning I decided to get some paint ships for repainting the hall I have ruined with my hanging methods. Unfortunately they have gone out of business behind my back! That leaves only Home Depot as resource, so I guess I'll haul myself over there to do that next.
House-wifery. I hate it, always have. And since TY is on his way home today (de plane! de plane!) I even ran the washing machine and dishwasher. So I guess with all my jobs done there is nothing left but to hit the sewing machine. Damn. Maybe I can think up somebody else to call.

Lol get to work. And I have to say u love these sharp jagged lines so out of curiosity keep on with the process.
all right I did not realize when I looked at the photo that the jagged lines I liked were actually the cutting mat behind the squares. But I like them anyway LOL. Carry on. (my verification word was crucope... hmmm)
Totally hate housewifery. Don't mind so much the things that I *make* dirty (laundry and dishes, say), but the things that get dirty all by themselves (dust, etc)???????
Argh.
I am perfectly happy to fuss over my pictures in photoshop all day, but fussing with stuff that won't STAY fussed? (weeding....)
NOT.
Publisher's Clearing House, surely it's my turn, eh?
