Howdy Sandy,Signed twice doncha know. Guess someone doesn't think I am up to it. P'tuii! Sorry Imogen.
Hope you're keeping well. I'm just getting in touch to ask if you're in need of any freelance writing at Waiting For The Muse - if so, it'd be an honor to help out and I would love to get involved if you have any need for me.
I'm 29 have been working full-time as a professional writer and researcher for five years now; in that time there isn't a lot I haven't already covered (there are a few samples below for you to check out). Anything I send over would be written with the site's readership in mind - as long as you're happy with the resulting material, you'd be welcome to publish it as you see fit and the content will be owned by you entirely (in that I won't send it to anyone else, either before or after publication).
The good news is that I'd be able to offer my services at no charge; the only thing I would ask in return is that I'm able to include a link to a site within the article - nothing shady or unethical, just one of the professional businesses I freelance on behalf of. Otherwise I'd be happy to chat about alternative arrangements.Do let me know if you're interested, and if so I can get something written for you over the course of the next few days. Needless to say, the offer is open to any other sites you might own as well as sandeedee.blogspot.com. I appreciate that this kind of offer is not for everyone however, so if I don't hear from you, no offense taken and I won't trouble you again.
Very best,
Imogen

Housekeeping:
I found this wire shelf in the bottom of my closet and thought it was a better set-up for my printers and scanner than strung out across the whole desk. It freed up a lot of space and sure looks neater.
Before, piles and piles of cigar boxes collected from 4 different cigar bars within a mile:
After:
This one shows the holes I'm drilling for the vases and a bit of moss.
And here are the succulents ready to get stashed in the open boxes:
She assembled piles of boxes while I finished drilling out the holes for the vases on yesterday's batch. No kidding I had done a grand total of TWO yesterday in a whole afternoon. Today I went zipping through all the rest I glued up yesterday. Then I glued up the 9 piles that Laurie was assembling and I am now ready to drill the rest out after they have sat overnight. Mr Natural always said to use the right tools for the right job, how right he is. And now I can drill out just about anything with my actual 7 amp plug in drill! Will throw away the stupid old one, a joke, not even good enough to be a pink ladies drill! (I hate ladies tools...)
Amidst all this furious activity I also banged out a baby quilt for the new granddaughter of my late best friend. It's not beautiful or even cute, it's made from a sample piece I made for a class I taught at the local shop and unfortunately called 'butt-ugly' on this blog because I don't like bright girly colors much. I was reamed out by the shop owner for that and have never been asked to teach there again- I don't get it- I admitted my sample was butt-ugly because I was making a different one at the time plus had a pretty great full sized quilt example already made. In defense of my battered self esteem, the class was running full and the participants had to buy heavily in the shop. Oh well. I liked teaching there but guess I blew it. But I betcha a new baby girl will love having this to drag around and take to the beach and picnics and make tents and cozy up in a cold car seat. Bet she won't think it's butt ugly, at least until she turns three.
