Wendell Cushman Bituminous

Could this be ME???
Having a little fun today with the weirdness of the world.  Unbelievably both items I found here before 7 AM are from China.  First, the monster emerging from the sea above, is wearing a new protective suit that keeps the sun off her skin.  AND, 'it may or may not' also offer protection from jellyfish stings.  Anybody want to try it?  I'm ordering one to wear at the nude beach on the Vineyard.  Do you suppose I can resume sunbathing again after 50 years of avoiding it?  Plus it will save me a bundle on sunscreen, I'll just have to watch out for harpoons...

Here we have a shipment of iPhone stoves that were seized by the Chinese police.  Gas.  Is there an App for that?  Wonder if this was Steve's secret project before he left us...

Your future is looking brighter today since the resistance you were previously facing is beginning to ease. You might feel as if you spent too much time trying to overcome an obstacle, but nothing is to be gained now by looking back. It's more important to focus on cooperating with others to accomplish your objectives. The potential to succeed is greater than usual if you follow up on a current opportunity before you lose your chance.
Haven't thrown in a Horror for awhile, but it doesn't mean I don't read them.  I think that my overcome obstacle is the pile o' cigar boxes that are now officially centerpieces.  I am headed back to the studio post haste to dump all the unused boxes and clean up the sawdust.  What a mess to contend with, but once I drag out the vacuum some spiders are gonna shake in their teeny shoes too.  I am sure tired of sweeping up their hoarded food stashes under their webs-  and I just KNOW that at the height of about 6' up to the ceiling (another 15') must be a giant multi-spider condo that my head doesn't reach.  What I don't know about and can't reach will have to stay, because TY has arranged for some people to make a studio visit later today.  Believe me, it's barely fit for the spiders at this point.  And I do have a rule that the place gets cleaned as soon as a project is finished.  The Four Turkeys quilt just needs it's binding, and the boxes are done-  time to get to work and clear the decks for the next thing.
_______________here's my line again, time for something arty________________________________________
I have been dying to show you these coiled baskets made by Doug Johnston.  Gorgeous shapes and subtle colors-  and sized to wear if the need arises!  Beautiful groupings, go look!

_______________________ooops, another line I'm getting silly again___________________________________
Dog Locker-  You stick your doggie in the locker if he's not invited into the grocery store, retrieve him when you're done.  Wait till PETA hears about this.
Would you put Beckham into one of these lockers?   I think not.

I' through, time to move on.  So to finish up this morning, I found the very first three minute TED talk from 2005 right here!  I love TED talks, have collected them for years, this will join the list!
The thing is, every time I tie my shoes the bow goes vertical and I spend a minute to do it over but never figured out that there are two ways!  Good thing I am heavily invested in slides and velcro these days.

We had a Springer Spaniel that would attack the door dealibobs too. Thanks for the memories. It must be a Spaniel thing.
