watery heine seat

I work day and night without sleep.
The paintings keep me fired up.

HORRORS:  You're not feeling very sure of yourself today because old fears are resurfacing from your subconscious mind. But past experiences have a tendency to go away and return, especially when something happens to remind you of a previous hurt. You can push through your current uncertainties, but you'll need to have faith, as blind as it may be now. Close your eyes, grit your teeth and reach for the stars.
Yup, I'm packing up my house today, dragging ladders around, stashing stuff in the two little rooms that aren't having work done, and wondering how I will ever finish.

Last night I had dinner with an old friend from my crit group, and actually will be at the meeting Tuesday night, first time in simply ages I've been able to be in town for it.  Another day I will see my grandkids, and I will also leave the leaky premises to do some Christmas shopping.

Other than that I am breathing dust and mold until the De-Mold guys show up.  My big furniture is all ready to haul out to storage and my little furniture is packed away safely in the one room they won't be replacing the floors.  Nate and Jackie took some time yesterday and helped me drag the drapes off the walls-  (I had installed them on a little invention of mine-  end finials screwed into the walls to disguise a wall with weird build-outs.)  I'm throwing out all manner of stuff, losing my sentimentality over anything old, broken, chipped, or useless.  Have several bags of clothes and household stuff to send to Goodwill, and I didn't even moan once when I dropped one of the good glasses the other day.  Just call me the Jules Olitski of packing.

Damn, these days I want to live in a hotel room with no possessions!  I don't want to worry about washing windows or scratching floors or paint colors or old unidentifiable packages in the freezer-  I simply don't care any more, and know I can be happy with a roof and some walls and no leaks.  And a tv.  (Disclaimer, I don't want to ever be without my messy, full, spider filled studio!)  I can go from my hotel room to that, can't I?

I'll stop whining now, and get on with my jobs here.  First on my agenda is to go find a diner for breakfast.  And some good coffee!
