vestige finds essex

We do not wish to copy nature. We do not want to reproduce, we want to produce. (Hans Jean Arp)

Our last visit with James Victore:

I've been loading a whole new Pinterest board over the last few days-  the idea is obscured faces and I've titled it 'Facial Recognition'.
To me that encompasses about anything that would confuse a camera, but in collecting the mages I got dangerously close to some gay porn-  nothing to scare you away, but there were some kind of S&M leather-strappy things hiding some faces that were pretty interesting.  I doubt this will be a big 'repinning' op but it was fun running them all down for attribution...  I'l get back to stitchery soon, promise. Oh, how I miss my studio-  know I'm going to return to a new spider convention when I get back!

New York-based architects and designers STUDIO KCA take trash to high places with their massive installation, Head in the Clouds. Assembled with 53,780 plastic jugs and bottles loosely strung together around an aluminum frame, Head in the Clouds creates a dreamy, billowing structure complete with an airy interior pavilion accommodating fifty people.

When the SQUIRREL comes into our lives it is often a message for us to have more fun, and take life a little less seriously. Also a sign that it might be time to look into our own provisions.  Take heed!
